In Loving Memory 愛的回憶

Kwai-Pheng Agnes Ho was born in Malaysia. After she moved to Hong Kong, she met her husband, Siu-Cheong John Ho, during high school. John emigrated to America for college, and they got married in 1974 after he graduated. They lived in Tennessee while John finished his doctorate degree, and soon welcomed their first daughter, Ashley. Later, they moved to Michigan, where they welcomed their second daughter, Beverly. After retirement, they decided to move to Missouri in 2013 to be closer to Beverly’s family, while Ashley lived abroad.

黃桂平女士出生於馬來西亞。移居香港後，在高中時認識了未來的丈夫何兆祥先生。隨後何先生前來美國就讀大學，並於1974年畢業後與黃女士結婚。當何先生完成博士學位時，他們居住在田納西州，並很快有了他們的第一個女兒何愛妮。後來，他們搬到了密芝根州，並在那裡迎來了他們的第二個女兒何慧妮。何先生退休後，他們決定在 2013 年搬到密蘇里州，離女兒慧妮一家人更近，而何愛妮則住在國外。

Agnes will always be remembered for her energetic, positive and joyful spirit, her strong faith in Jesus, and her love for her family and friends. She was a creative soul who loved working with her hands, whether it was sewing, painting, pottery, macrame, or any form of art. She loved dancing, fashion, and hosting parties. You would often find her outside enjoying God's creation, gardening and sharing her love of nature with her children and grandchildren. She became a Christian soon after she moved to Michigan, and she loved to share her gifts of caring and hospitality to all those around her. At Michigan State University, she was very involved in international student ministry and prayer ministry. Later when she moved to St. Louis, her ministry focus expanded to seniors in the Chinese community.  All were made to feel welcome in her home and became a part of her extended family.  Her passion was sharing the love of Jesus Christ with everyone around her.

黃桂平女士因為她充滿活力、積極和愉悅的精神、對耶穌的堅定信仰以及對家人和朋友的愛心而被人們銘記。她是一個富有創造力的人，無論是什麼手藝，縫紉、繪畫、陶藝、花邊或任何形式的藝術，她都喜愛。她也喜歡跳舞、時尚和舉辦派對。你經常會發現她在戶外從事園藝，享受上帝創造的天地，並與她的子孫分享她對大自然的熱愛。搬到密芝根州後不久，她就成為一名基督徒，並向周圍的人分享她的關懷和熱情好客的天賦。在密芝根州立大學，她積極參與國際學生事工和祈禱事工。後來，當她們搬到聖路易斯時，她的事工重點擴展到華人社區的老年人。所有人都在她家中感到受歡迎，並成為她大家庭的一部分。她熱衷地與周圍的每個人分享耶穌的愛。

Agnes was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Preceded in death by her father, Wong Chiu, and beloved mother, Tham Soo Mooi, she will be dearly missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in Jesus’ eternal peace.

黃桂平女士是許多人心愛的妻子、母親、祖母、姊妹和朋友。在她深愛的父親黃釗和母親譚穌妹去世之後，她將會被深深懷念並永遠珍藏在那些認識和愛她的人心中。願她在耶穌永恆的愛中安息。
